How It Started
A few years ago, I needed a small custom bracket printed — nothing fancy, just a simple plastic part to mount a sensor in an awkward spot. I didn't own a 3D printer, so I started looking at online services.
The big-name services quoted me $40 to $80 for a part that weighed maybe 15 grams. Shipping alone was more than the material. I tried a few marketplaces and got lost in confusing pricing calculators, minimum order requirements, and two-week lead times. For a hobbyist who just needed one part printed, the entire process felt designed for corporate R&D budgets, not real people.
I already had experience in manufacturing and a background tinkering with hardware, so I made a decision: I'd buy a professional-grade FDM printer, learn it properly, and offer the service myself — at a price that actually made sense.
That was the beginning of Get3DPrints.com. What started as a side project out of my workspace has grown into a dedicated printing operation running six materials: PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, and Nylon. Every machine is tuned and calibrated for consistent results, and every order is inspected before it ships.
What We Believe
3D printing should not require a $800 printer purchase, weeks of calibration, or a corporate account with a large bureau service. It should be as simple as uploading a file, picking a material, and getting your part in the mail.
That's the entire premise of Get3DPrints.com. We keep pricing transparent — base fee plus material cost per gram, no hidden minimums — and we review every file personally before quoting. If something looks off with your design, we'll tell you before printing begins, not after.
We serve hobbyists, students, small businesses, engineers, cosplayers, homeowners, and anyone else who has a 3D model and needs it made real. We ship anywhere in the United States via USPS or UPS.
